Choose Thy Love. Love Thy Choice.

"Choose thy love. Love thy choice."

-German Proverb

This is a simple quote that basically shows that we make choices all the time, and it is up to us to choose what we love. And when we do make our choice then we should love what it is that we chose. Make the right choices and you should be content with them. Do the things that you enjoy, and be happy about them. Love the choices that you make.

There are many times in life where we are pressured into making choices. So many times we do things because we are worried about societies' standards and fitting in as social creatures. But we need to start making choices for ourselves. What makes me happy? Sometime we do things because we feel like it was the right choice for our society. But how does it make us feel? If it doesn't make us feel good, then we shouldn't be doing it. A lot of times we can feel like we are hiding the real person that we are because so many people will not accept us. We are all unique individuals with different ideas and preferences, and that is how it is supposed to be. We are not made to be the same. That is what is so interesting and exciting about life, all the different choices and personalities. If we could learn to appreciate things that are different, then we are opening and expanding our minds to many possibilities. If you want to be accepted by others, then start accepting other people for who they are. Don't judge, and if you catch yourself, replace your thoughts with love or something positive instead. What goes around comes around. Judgement is one of the worse habits to get into.Try to appreciate what each person has to offer. We all have different personalities and talents that we share with the world. It is our personal choices that make us so diverse. Enjoy the endless possibilities that this world has to offer.

"Choose thy love. Love thy choice." We all make choices everyday. What are you choosing to do? Do you love your choices? Is your life filled with happiness and love? Strive to make the best choices you can. Our life is the result of our personal choices. If we choose what we love then we should love our life and its experiences. We can always make changes. We can always continue the path we are on. What are the choices you are making? Choose what you love.

Everyday Miracles

"The invariable mark of wisdom is to see the miraculous in the common."

-Ralph Waldo Emerson

How many times do we stop to smell the roses? As we grow up we lose our sense of fun, our sense of being. Too many times there is something wonderful right in front of us, but we miss it because we are so involved in our own circumstances. There is so much wonder and grace in this Earth and we should really take the time to notice and appreciate what has been given to us.

Colors. Detail. Texture. Sight. Smell. Taste. These are all wonderful examples of things we may take for granted on a regular basis. Why? Because as we grow and the years go by we get used to things. We start to take things for granted. We need to slow down and look around. What do you see? I see a world full of wonder, if only someone would take the time to explore it. Look upon the world as if you were a small child. There are miracles all around us. Take the time to notice the small details, the mechanics of something and you will be amazed or even baffled on how it works or was created.

There are so many example of nature that could constitute as a miracle. Take the time to appreciate this world. When was the last time you really looked at something? Take a tree for example. Go up to one, get a good look. Feel the bark. Is it rough or smooth? How old is this tree? Is it older than you? Notice the color of the leaves and how they are shaped. There are all different sorts of trees. Imagine the process of Photosynthesis. Very complex What a miracle of life. How about a river? Listen to the sound as it passes by. What is the speed of the water. Is it slowly passing or is it rather swiftly moving? Think of the temperature and the habitat that this river creates. How many species can survive due to this particular river? Amazing. How about the mountains? Years and years of our planets structural change. The glaciers and water that formed them by carving into the surface. It's astounding! What about the stars? When was the last time you took the time to step outside at night and appreciate the stars? They are a gorgeous reminder to us that anything is possible. There are countless other galaxies out there. There is so much more to life. There is so much wonder and so many miracles that we should learn to appreciate rather than take for granted.

Some other great examples would be from the human body. Look at our brain for example. The complexity and use of our brain is extraordinary. Scientists have shown that our brain uses electricity to function! What?!? So we have electricity coursing though our bodies. Wow. How about the human eye? Isn't it such a miracle that we can see? Sensors that take in information, and upside down images transferred and reflected to our mind!!!! Do you see the beauty of this? It's Endless. The miracles of life are endless, if we could only see it it that way.

When we learn to look at the world with the eyes of a child, then we will find true joy. We will be grateful for all the things in our lives, big and small. We will look at everyday objects with amazement and realize what a blessing is truly in front of us. Wisdom is to see the miraculous in the common.

The Biggest Risk

"The biggest risk of life isn't making mistakes, but it's regret, missing out on experiences."

Isn't that the truth! We are bound to make mistakes in life. We are all human and are not perfect. But there are plenty of times in our lives when we see opportunities and still pass them by. But why? Why do we let perfectly good opportunities pass us by?

Life is all about taking chances. Many of us feel self doubt, or discouragement from other sources. There are many reasons that a person could come up with for not taking a risk, following their dream, or even stepping out of their comfort zone. We become afraid. We are afraid that things will not work out. We are afraid that maybe this isn't the best idea. Or things will be easier if I follow what others think and believe. A lot of times we are afraid of change. These are all reasons for us to turn down our dreams. So why is it easier for us to turn down opportunities than to take them? Well frankly, sometimes it can be hard to step out of our comfort zones and take a chance. Sometimes the risks are too great and we begin to worry and fear what could happen. We should not fear the future. We should be up for a challenge. It's okay to make mistakes. It's okay to mess up sometimes. But most of all we shouldn't even be worrying about that. We should know that everything happens for a reason, and everything will turn out no matter which path we choose. Don't be afraid to take a risk. Everything will be okay.

We need to have more faith in ourselves, and the Universe. Opportunities are given to us for a reason and we should not doubt if it is something we truly have been wanting. We need to realize and believe that our higher power will provide. There is nothing too big or too small for the Universe. We can have whatever it is we dream about. We just have to realize that it is there waiting for us. We need to reach out and take it. Take that risk. It is worth the price. Believe things will work out, and they always do!

What is your Focus?

Does it ever seem like sometimes you get stuck in a rut? Do things seem to keep happening to you? One thing after another? How can you get things to stop and turn around for you? Is there anything we can we do to change our circumstances?

Yes. Yes. and Yes! Sometimes it seems like everything is going good for us. And we are completely content and happy with life and the situations in it. But then there are other times when everything that could possibly go wrong does. How come life works this way? Well the answer is much simpler than we can imagine. It is our own personal thoughts and attitudes on the subject. It's easy to continue that happy and joyful feeling when things are going good. And it is also easy to get caught up with negative emotions when bad things happen. We are all human, and it is completely normal to have and experience negative emotion. But it is how we choose to deal with the situation and most of all our thoughts. We can change our thoughts whenever we choose. We can at any point choose to feel differently or focus on a new subject. This can be very challenging at some point, but it must be done.

It is so easy to think about what is right in front of us. It is easy for us to focus on a situation at hand. But if we are currently focused on "what is" then we can never change the circumstance. As long as you are more aware of what you don't want rather than what you do want regarding the situation, what you do want cannot come to you because you are focusing on what you don't want. When you are focused on what you don't want, you are attracting more of that into your life and will continue to do so as long as you stay on that pattern of thinking. We must shift our mood, our emotions, and our thoughts to positive. You must take your attention away from the issue and choose to focus on things that make you feel good. One of the best ways to change from negative to positive thoughts is by being thankful. Be thankful for whatever you can possibly think of, down to the smallest of things. There are so many reasons to be grateful, and when we are then we are bringing back positive thoughts, which will begin to attract all the good things in life. It will be only a matter of time before your life is back on track.

Most people do not realize that their thoughts are creating their lives. Your current thoughts will bring your future to you. Look around. What do you see? Everything in your life and your current situation, you have attracted whether it be good or bad. Are you happy with where you are? To attract positive things into your life you must be thinking positive thoughts the majority of the time. If you are looking to make improvements then start with your thoughts and you will soon see the changes in your experience. Your thoughts change everything.

Painting

Have you been trying to find a way to reduce stress in your life? Have you been wanting to start a new hobby, but can't think of what to get involved with? Well maybe you should consider painting! There has been research showing that painting reduces stress!

Any form of artistic creation would be considered a wonderful way of reducing stress. When we create things by putting positive energies into our work, we are releasing stress and built up tension from our bodies. Painting is a wonderful way to express creativity. There are so many options when it comes to painting. It is up to the artist on what they will choose to paint. When was the last time you picked up a paint brush? Try it sometime, and see if you enjoy the effects of it.

In the book "The Seth Material" by Jane Roberts there is a mention of painting and its healing qualities. It goes on by saying "Dr. Pietra in his medical work is studying the use of painting in therapy. Not only working with patients and using art as therapy, but working with the idea that some paintings in themselves have healing effect. Certain paintings can capture and direct the healing abilities of the viewer."

So there you have it. Painting. Reduce stress in your life by picking up some form of artistic hobby. Doctors recommend painting for healing and stress reduction. Painting is a great way to express emotion and creativity. What would you choose to paint? What inspires you? The possibilities are endless!

So Busy Doing

"Is it possible that I am so busy doing that I no longer have time to enjoy being?"

-Wilson

How often is it that we catch ourselves getting so caught up in this world that we don't even see the big picture? Our environment has so much to offer, so much in fact that it is easy to get engrossed with all the details. How can we get back to our own personal lives and enjoy living the way we are supposed to?

Today's society is filled with technology, internet, media, entertainment, advertisements, people, commotion, traffic, careers, deadlines, bills, family pressures, responsibilities, and expectations. How do we measure up? How do we keep up? They say stress is the number one cause of disease. The number one cause! So this means that we must make it a priority to rationalize and prioritize what is really important in our lives. How do we want our lives to take place? What are our dreams? What are we allowing into our thoughts and mind? Our daily choices and thoughts affect our lives more than we know it. So we must make it a habit to slow down and enjoy the scenery every once and a while. Slow down and appreciate life. Be truly grateful for all that you have in your life. Enjoy whatever makes you happy. Do the things that release stress from your life. There are so many options, we just have to remember to make the time in our lives for the things that we love.

How busy are you? Do you find your day whizzing by without enjoying it? Or are you doing what you love? Sometimes we do things because we think they are the right choices, the easy path, or because that is what is expected of us. But does it make you happy? It is time to make a choice and start living life the way you want to, however that may be. Who knows what life will bring? Who knows how long we will have? Now is the time to slow down and look at what is really going on. Take the time to enjoy life for all its worth. You won't be sorry.

The Secrets to Life

What are the secrets to life? What is the secret to happiness? How can we all live with more satisfaction and contentment in our lives? How can we find true joy? These are all questions that most people would love to know the answers to. Well, thankfully the Universe has provided us with a couple of laws that can govern our lives to joy and happiness if we choose to allow it.

The first law is the Law of Attraction, which simply states: That which is like unto itself is drawn. When we can master the Law of Attraction then we will know how to bring forth wonderful desires into our lives. Anything is possible when you know the correct formula! The Law of Attraction runs our lives, if we realize it our not. Whatever we are feeling and thinking about is causing more like thoughts and circumstances in our life. The more good we feel then the more good we see, and vise-versa. The Law of Attraction is what brings forth our future based on our dominant thoughts and feelings. So once we learn to shift our emotions and thought patterns then we will see a tremendous change in our lives.

The other, less popular law is the Law of Allowing, which is says: I am that which I am, and I am willing to allow all others to be that which they are. This law may be very challenging for some, but once you can accomplish this state of mind then you will have achieved true happiness and joy. This is where we can control out attitude. Our happiness should not depend on other people. True allowing is maintaining your own balance and composure, no matter what others are doing. You are here to create the world around you that you choose, while you allow others to choose it to exist in their way also. We weren't put here to try to change people into following our beliefs. We can experience our own joy through our lives when we learn to practice the Law of Allowing. When we don't allow something to change our feelings and we stay in a good, happy mood then the Law of Attraction will continue to bring more happiness and pleasant things into our lives.

So there you have it! The Law of Attraction and the Law of Allowing are the two Universal laws that dictate our lives. Once we comprehend their importance and learn how to incorporate them into our lives, we will see the changes that we wish to see. We will experience true bliss, real joy and happiness. We mold our own lives. The clay is in your hands. What will you choose to do with it?

Point of Attraction

What is your point of attraction? Many people think that they would never attract anything bad into their lives. There is no way someone would purposely attract unwanted circumstances into their life, right? Wrong! Whatever we are thinking about we are attracting into our lives. Whether we are thinking about things we like or do not like, we are inviting it into our reality.

Everything you think about you want. Everything you talk about you want. Harsh reality? It's the truth! That is why it is so important for us to choose our thoughts wisely, and to recognize when we are feeling bad. When we realize when we are having negative thoughts or emotions then we know when we need to change our thinking patterns. When we are thinking about something that does not make us feel good, unfortunately we are only asking for more of that in our lives. When we focus on anything negative, the Law of Attraction is responding to it. The Law of Attraction is not biased; it simply reacts to our dominant thoughts. The more we think about something, the more similar things will become present in our reality.

So what are you talking about with other people? Are you talking about your back pain? Are you talking about the burglaries on the news? How about all the natural disasters? Or are you talking about uplifting and inspiring topics? What are you choosing to think about? Do you always look for the best in the situation or are you quick to pick out the flaws? The secret to true joy is being grateful. When we focus on all the wonderful things in our lives then we have reasons to be full of joy, contentment, happiness, and satisfaction.

We choose our realities. Do you choose to see the good and be thankful? Or do you choose to see the faults in something, passing on judgement and complaints? Let the Law of Attraction work wonders in your life by using it to your advantage. You will find that amazing things will happen in your experiences. Choose your thoughts wisely and you will see the transformation in your life. Change your point of attraction!

Good or Bad?

Every possible topic in our lives is decided upon us as individuals as either good or bad. We all make up our minds as to what specifically we consider to be "good" and "bad." But how did we make up our minds? Most likely we have been taught in life by others that certain actions are considered bad and some are good and so forth. Who should be making those decisions?

So many times in life we are taught to act in a certain manner. Nothing outside of the norm is proper or acceptable. There are expectations to live up to. Judgement is passed if one does not conform to the ideal standards. But who decided all this and how should one act? We as individual need to question ourselves first. We must ask ourselves, "What do I believe in, and why? Were we taught to believe certain ideas from our parents growing up? How about school, politics or church? What is real? What do we choose to believe?" At some point in our lives we must ask ourselves what it is we really believe. What do I believe to be true? How do I want to express myself and live my own life?

Jerry and Ester Hicks had some interesting points of view. "A belief is only a practiced vibration. You have the absolute choices about the 'truths' that you create in your own experience. Good and Evil are only ways of defining wanted and unwanted. And wanted and unwanted apply to the individual doing the wanting." So in summation, all of us decide for ourselves what we believe to be right or wrong. We need to decide these things for our own sake, regardless the influence of society. Sometimes that is easier said than done, but we should really attempt to be our true self. There is nothing wrong with the person we choose to be.

Don't be afraid to question anything you or others choose to believe. Let's decide to be true to ourselves and make our own decisions despite outside pressure. What do you choose to believe? What are your truths?

Pamper Yourself

The best things we can do for ourselves is to take care of ourselves! And I mean to pamper ourselves! We should take the time to care for ourselves with our best treatment. We are number one, and number one comes first! If we live by this, then we will notice what kind of stress it can, and will reduce from our lives.

There is nothing wrong with being a little selfish toward ourselves. We in fact have to live in this body, so we might as well make the most of it! What can you do to help yourself feel better? What can you do to bring out the best in you? There are many options and ideas we can incorporate into our lives which will boost our optimism. Pampering yourself is a great stress reliever because when giving yourself special treatment, it is shown that a person's blood pressure actually decreases, and its a great way to get your mind of any sort of stress.

Some fun things to try could include going to a spa or a nice salon for a massage, manicure, pedicure, hair cut or style. You could always take yourself out for a special treat at a restaurant or bakery. You could take yourself out on a little shopping splurge, go to a museum or an aquarium. The point is to have fun and get your mind off the stress. Sometimes we can be tight on money, and that is understandable. In that case there are plenty of things we can do at home for little to no cost as well. You can pretty much do all the same things just at home. Take a long bath. Burn some candles or incense. Paint your own nails and toenails. Style your hair real nice, and wear an outfit you know looks great on you! Ask your significant for a quick back rub. Bake yourself something nice. There are plenty of options, you just might have to get a little creative. Another good idea is just taking time out of your day just for you. Whatever it is you want to do at the moment. Read a book, go for a walk, watch a movie, whatever it is that you find relaxing. There are so many ways to reward yourself, and that is the key here. Strive to take care of yourself first. Strive to be your own best friend, and treat yourself to the things you enjoy, the things that make you feel good. Your heart and blood pressure will thank you!

Stress is the number one cause of disease. It creeps up on all of us. It is so easy to get overwhelmed by this world, that is why it is so important to slow down and see the big picture. What is really important? Put yourself first. Take time out of your busy schedule just for you. Take control of your existence. Pamper yourself, have a little fun, and reduce the stress in your life!

Visualization

Visualization is the key to mastering our dreams. Before our dreams can take place we must be able to imagine what it will be like and how it will feel. We should take the time to visualize anything that is important enough to us. If it is something we feel in our hearts then it is something we deserve to accomplish.

We accomplish our dreams by setting goals and living up to our own expectations. Too many times people get discouraged because the things they strive for have not been accomplished yet, or its taking to long. The key to success is determination and persistence. We can achieve anything that we set our minds to. One of the first thing we can start to do to achieve our ambitions is to imagine it taking place. Imagine, what it will feel like on your journey toward your goal. Then imagine the outcome, and how amazing and wonderful you will feel when you finally achieve what you have been wanting. Imagine the satisfaction you will have when you complete your task. The more details we can imagine, the closer we are to having what it is that we want. The more we can see it and feel it, the closer it becomes to us. Don't get discouraged if it is taking longer than expected, just believe that it will come. Your desires come from the heart, and you deserve whatever makes you happy. Just keep imagining what it will be like and how it will feel.

Take time every day to set goals, and then visualize the reality of those aspirations. Everything is possible. If someone else can do it, or have it, so can you! Visualize your own success. Expect great things in your life. If you can see it in your mind then you will have it in your reality. Visualization is the key to success.

Let Your Emotions be Your Guide

The Law of Attraction is working at all times, whether we realize it or not. How does it work and how can I use it to my advantage? The Law of Attraction simply states: That which is like unto itself, is drawn. So similar ideas, objects, and events take place due to what is already happening and being thought about.

Our thoughts control our experience of our personal existence. Our personal thoughts bring about more things into our lives based upon what we are predominantly thinking. It may seem quite overwhelming at times to try to monitor all of our thoughts and keep them in line. That could be one way of going about it. Another, easier, recommended way of changing our outlook and opinions would be to focus on our emotions rather than our thoughts. Emotions are a lot easier to detect and decipher. It is very easy to tell whether or not we are in a good or bad mood. You are either feeling good or you are feeling bad. And from that moment on, after making such realization we can choose to continue our feeling, or we can make a change.

Emotions are the perfect reflection of your current point of attraction. How you are feeling, is what you are attracting. So if you are feeling bad about yourself, having trust issues with someone, anger, jealousy or even road rage you are creating more of that particular situation. The more you focus on something, the more you bring it to your reality. You are at all times attracting new circumstances into your life based upon your main focus. So if you are in a good mood, going about your day, being thankful for the wonderful things in your life and just being happy, then you will attract more great things into your life! The whole trick is to realize what you are thinking about, and realize how you feeling.

What kind of emotions are you experiencing? Change your outlook and focus only on the good and you will see amazing results. Let your emotions be your guide. You will know if you are on track or not based on how you are feeling. Choose to feel good. Choose to be thankful. Choose to be happy!

Common Weakness

"The most common weakness of all human beings is the habit
of leaving their minds open to the negative influences of other people."

-Napoleon Hill

There are plenty of times when we all get excited about this great idea, just to be let down by the way others respond to it. Too many times we allow others to tell us how they feel and it ruins our bliss. When we are inspired by something and we believe in it, then really that is all that matters. Why do we allow others to influence us?

People will influence our entire lives if we let them. How come we don't value our own opinion the most? How come we can let other people change our feelings? We must become secure enough in our decision making. We should be self confident to the point where no one can change our minds. We are truly capable of anything we choose. If you can imagine it, then you can conceive it. Our thoughts manifest, whether it is our desires or our fears. Scientists have shown that thoughts are measured as vibrational frequencies which transmit signals. If you can see it in your mind, you will see it in reality. So if you are given inspired thought, trust your own instincts. Does it feel right to you? If so, then go for it! And don't let any one's negative thoughts get in your way. Don't let anyone make you feel different about your goals and dreams. They say Thomas Edison failed 10,000 times before perfecting the light bulb! 10,000 times! There were many people who did not believe in him. But he did. He believed in his own ideas and transformed the world! His friends thought he was crazy and even had him evaluated in a mental institution for his belief of sending sound waves to where people could talk to each other from miles and miles apart. Edison then invented the telephone and the radio! His friends thought he was crazy until they saw his inventions! But he didn't let that discourage him. He continued for years, knowing that he had great ideas. He revolutionized the world! The same is true with Henry Ford. People laughed at his idea of a horseless wagon. It seemed impossible to all but one man. But he had the idea, saw it in his mind, and made it happen. Vehicles are all over the world now, and many people could not imagine living without one! We are responsible for our own success or failure.

So no matter what anyone tells you, if you have an inspired thought or idea, stick with it! Most of all, don't give up on your dream. Persistence and determination are the key to reaching our goals. Anything is possible. Believe in yourself and great things will happen!

Change your life Experience

I have been reading this great new book that has been recommended by several of the previous authors I have been inspired by. The name of the book is "Think & Grow Rich," by Napoleon Hill. The original book was written in 1945, and speaks of the power of the mind, and positive thinking! The author studies and reports of some of the most successful people in his time such as Henry Ford, Thomas Edison, John D. Rockefeller, and many more. These men explain their thinking and how they made their dreams a reality.

I am loving the book so far, it goes hand in hand with the Law of Attraction. I am just so interested in the fact that all of these successful people are ALL saying the same thing! They are saying the thoughts of the mind, what we choose to believe, and our desires. All of these people know the secret to life, and they are sharing it to anyone who will listen and try for themselves to start changing our own realities. I believe it, and that is why I am sharing the message with others. I have seen results in my own life on a regular basis depending on my thoughts. Positive thoughts bring positive things. Negative thoughts bring more negative things. We can change the world based on our thinking. We can change our bodies. We can change our experiences.

One very interesting thing I was reading in this book was a scientific study about a man who actually killed himself through his thoughts! They call it "Suggestive Suicide," where a man could commit suicide through negative suggestions, just as if it were any other means. The most famous case is from a man named Joseph Grant who worked for a bank, and without permission borrowed a large sum of money. He lost the money through gambling. When the bank directors were starting to look into the accounts and noticed the missing money, he left the bank and rented out a hotel room. When the police found him three days later he was lying in bed moaning and wailing. He was repeating the same phrase over and over. "My God, this will kill me! I can't stand the disgrace!" In a short time he was dead. The case was pronounced as a "Mental Suicide."

I just had to share that medical case. I just found the topic to be amazing. It just goes to show another way on how powerful our minds can be and what we are really capable of. We are capable of so many things. If we believe in something then it is true for us. What makes some one's dreams come true? It is our attitude. It is our thoughts. Change your thinking and you will change your reality. Change your life experience.

Prisoner of the Mind

"Men are not prisoners of fate, but only prisoners of their own minds."

-Franklin D. Roosevelt

We can live whatever life we want to. Or should I say, we can live whatever life we choose to. Everyday we make choices. Everyday we decide what we will choose to think about, what we will spend our time doing. We can choose to be grateful and enjoy life for everything in it, or we can choose to find fault in everything.

We make up our minds on what we want to focus on, and we live by that idea. As Roosevelt said, we can become 'prisoners of our own minds' if we choose to believe negative ideas. We can focus only on the bad and complain about the problem, or we can look for the good in the situation and move on with our lives. Do not waste time thinking about all the wrong, but enjoy the many pleasant things life has to offer. Look for the good, and choose to be positive. Choose to be thankful for everything. Choose to be a positive inspiration to yourself and others.

What we think about IS our reality. What do you think about regularly? Are you thinking about what you want? Are you imagining it? Don't become a prisoner, become what you've always wanted, what you've always dreamed. What is your dream? Don't let go. It can be your reality. Make it your reality! This life is what you make it.

Take a Bath!

When is the last time you took a nice hot relaxing bath? I kow it has been at least a month or two for me. Taking a warm or hot bath is one of the best natural ways to calm and relax your body. The hot water sooths and calms the muscles in the body, which in turn allows the mind to settle down.

Taking a bath is an at home theropy that we can all practice without spending too much money. We can have our own spa treatment all in the comfort of our own house, right in the bathroom. I always recommend cleaning the tub before taking a bath. Bath tubs and showers can quickly build up soap scum and grime so it is always good to know that the tub is clean  when you are using it. I also highly recommend if you have any bubble bath or bath oils to indulge in it! This is the time to go all out on yourself. Take the time to pamper yourself every now and again and you will see the results not only in your stress levels, but even your body. You body will loosen up and just be more relaxed overall. And lastly I suggest some candles for two reasons. One, the low lighting effect will help your body and mind settle itself. And two, the smell. When we smell pleasant aromas it triggers good thoughts and memories, which of course is another way of allowing us to unwind. Ever heard of aroma theropy? Well that is another article in itself, but I am sure you can get the gist of it. Now some people like to play music too. Personally, I like the silence so I can just sit in the moment, feel the warmth, and just quietly think to myself. But if music really helps you unwind, a quiet, calm instrumental piece would probably be most appropriate. Just don't let it distract you from the purpose of the activity. And when you take this bath, make sure you have the time and that you will be left alone in peace. You do not want to be interrupted or rushed during your bath. Just take your time and truely relax. Be thankful for the opportunity and think of all of the wonderful things that have been taking place in your life. This is a great time for positive thinking and imagination. Whatever comes to mind, just make sure to keep it light and positive.

There is nothing that compares to a nice warm bubble bath. No matter who you are, man or woman, take the time every now and then to enjoy the simple pleasure of relaxation. A bath is a great way to let loose and relax your muscles. Calm your mind, and calm your body. Little things like this will help your everyday actions. Stay positive. Stay happy. Stay healthy!

Big Deal

Ask yourself - "Is it really a big deal?" To be frank so many times, in so many instances we tend to overreact about our problem or situation. We are so used to reacting to situations based on what we have been taught. We have been taught by society that we are supposed to react a certain way when something happens.

Many times we react before we can even stop and really think about the issue and ask ourselves "Is this really a big deal?" "Is this something worth getting upset over?" "Is this really what I want to spend my energy on, let alone time?" If it really is an important issue, by all means feel the emotion and make it worth your while. But if its really not that big of a deal, then just let it go. This is something I have really been trying to practice lately. And it has been making a difference in my life. I am really starting to notice when I dwell on a subject that isn't positive how much stress it causes me. Then I notice how I feel when I am in those situations, and it isn't good. And I can see the effects in my complexion as well. I can see direct results not only in my life, but my body as well depending on how I am feeling.

So lately I have really been thinking in my mind when something is bothering me. I think to myself "Is this really what I want to be thinking about? Is this really a big deal?" And you know sometimes I will think about the issue for just a few minutes and I will say, "This isn't really that big of a deal. Get over it!" And I move on and forget about it. Other times I will think about an issue for hours and still be infuriated or upset about the issue, and at that moment it is a big deal. And then after a few hours I feel differently about the issue and move on from there. And then there are times when something will bother you for a really long time. And those are the times when you feel bad, you are stressed out, even depressed. Those are the moments when nothing can change what you are feeling. Only when you are ready will things change for you. Everything depends on your attitude and how you choose to deal with your situation. What are you choosing to think about? Are you focusing on the bad? Or are you looking at the good in every person or situation? The answers to these questions are what will affect your reality. What are you choosing to focus on? Ask yourself "Is this really a big deal?"

You will start to notice how many choice you have, and in time you will find yourself letting a lot of things go. Its just not worth it to dwell on something and let it bother you. You will feel so much better if you learn to let things go, or deal with them in a more positive manner. I tell myself in my head "So what? Big Deal. Get over it!" And when you can move on, you feel that much better. There are so many other topics or positive ideas that you can be thinking about instead. You choose what you think about. Make the choices and change your thoughts.
