Choose your environments carefully. The
places you go. Environments can be a place of stress. Large busy
buildings, back to back traffic, dangerous areas of town, someone's
dirty messy house, loud noises. All these things just add stress to the
body. Make sure your house, or where ever you are staying is beautiful
and relaxing. A place that you want to be, or enjoy coming home to.
The way you arrange your house furnishings and your decorations makes a difference. It
should flow easily. Does it feel relaxing and comfortable to you?

They
say clutter is a subconscious stress. Things all around us make us feel
confined and not at ease. Even the colors in your space set a mood as well as the
pictures on the walls. Make sure everything around you makes you feel
good and happy, relaxed and at peace.

I love candles and incense. It sets a calming mood. It sets an atmosphere. I light my candles on a
regular basis. In the evenings. Its calm, warm, and relaxing. I also love
having plants throughout my house too. They are a beautiful green
display of life. Bring life inside your home. Bring nature in your home
however you can. Nature has it's own balance. Plants, water, rocks. It brings you back to nature
when you look at it. It is good for the soul.

May your house display your love and your
personality. I am really into
metaphysical subjects. I love astrology, palm reading, tarot, hand
writing analysis, runes, the elements, you name it... I also believe in
guardian angels. so I have different themes going on. I also have a
romance and love theme. They say its almost like making little shrines
or alters for the things that you love and appreciate. So I have angels, love and romance, metaphysical, and nature. These are all objects that I love and appreciate,
so when I go into my bedroom I see those things. I am reminded everyday when I see these decorations, and I am grateful when I look upon what I love. Specifically choosing what I appreciate. It is a great way to remind yourself about the joys of life and what makes it so special. Its hard to be in a bad mood when you are surrounded by the things you love. Choose thy love, love thy choice.

Make sure your house is a very special, comfortable, and loving environment for you. What are some of the things that you love and appreciate?

"When it comes to being happy, the journey is the destination."

Stories about Finding Your Purpose, Passion, and Joy." by Jack Canfield, Mark Victor Hansen & Amy Newmark

Life is meant to be simple. We are the ones who make it so complicated. Our purpose in life is simply to love and experience joy in all its perspectives. We should always strive to do what makes us feel happy. There is no set purpose for each of us. As we grow we make choices and decisions, and hopefully we choose what is best for us.

Some people spend their lives trying to figure out why we are here, and what our purpose is. Hopefully each of us will find what truly makes us happy, for that is the real goal in life. Each one of us is a unique individual who has different interests, preferences, and goals. There is no right or wrong answer. There isn't a career or goal that is better than another. We all need each other for the world to go round. And that is why diversity is so important. The central idea is to accept others for who they choose to be, and in turn love ourselves for who we are. Variety in life is what makes things exciting.

There are so many different people who all have different dreams. But everything comes down to one central idea, which simply is the idea that 'the journey is the destination.' This reminds us to enjoy all the simple things in our lives, day in and day out. We shouldn't rush through life focusing so hard to be at a certain point. Each goal, and each step of the way is part of our experience. Some people are so focused on being somewhere else in life, that they miss out on many things right in front of them. I want a better car, a better career, a bigger house...etc. There is always something more, always another want. We will never stop wanting something new. We will always have a new goal. Once we grasp this, I think that we can slow down a bit and realize that we are just fine as we are. Yes, some of those other things would be nice, but when we realize we don't need it to be happy then we are in better place. Everything we want is possible if we believe, but patience is the key. It will come to us, one step at a time.

The journey is the destination. Appreciate where you are in life. There are so many reasons to be thankful. Enjoy each and every step in life. We will get there. Just be patient, and trust that life has its way of working things out. Enjoy your life journey.

What are you thinking about? The Law of Attraction is very simple. It specifically relates to our thoughts, which are classified into two categories, which are either positive or negative. We either feel good about what we are thinking or we feel bad. The Law of Attraction states that which is like unto itself, is drawn. Simply stated it means that we will attract similar things into our lives according to what we are thinking.

When we think good thoughts we are attracting more good, and the same goes for negative thoughts. It doesn't matter if it is something we want or don't want. Whatever we are thinking we are attracting. This can be a scary idea when we think about some of our thoughts. But it is also a refreshing idea because when we realize we are in control of what we choose to think about then we will find change for the better in our lives. Scientists have been able to prove that our thoughts give off a frequency, similar to that like a radio. They have also shown that positive thoughts are ten times as powerful as a negative thought. So this means that we do not necessarily need to freak out when we catch ourselves thinking something negative. It just means that when we catch ourselves, as soon as possible we need to change and replace our thoughts with something positive. We want to attract only good in our lives.

Sometimes the hardest part is getting our minds away from the negative. We are taught by society to worry and think about all the negative possibilities. Instead, we must focus only on the positive when it is possible. One of the best ideas to remember is that any sort of focus activates the Law of Attraction. When we are focused on something then we are telling the Universe we want more of that, good or bad. When you put your attention on anything then it is drawing it closer to you. So the more we focus and get upset about something, the more bad we are attracting. When it's all we can think about then we are asking for more of it. You must get your mind off of what you don't want and focus on what you do want. And most all we must believe that everything has its way of working out. Situations are only temporary. Things happen for a reason. We are who we are today because of our life choices and circumstances.

Believe what you want to believe. I don't believe in coincidence. I believe in science. I believe in energy and frequencies. And I believe we have the power to create our own world. Change your attitude and you will change your world.CJShttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12201854914505038230noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2605283226235590862.post-1807133516734517772012-04-26T11:47:00.000-06:002015-05-31T17:28:12.407-06:00Make it Count

"It's not the years in your life that count, it's the life in your years."

-Abraham Lincoln

This saying is kind of like saying, make the most out of each and every day. It doesn't matter how young or old you are. Just make a point to enjoy each day as it comes. Live your life to its fullest and do what you enjoy.

What do you want to achieve in life? What are some of your life goals? What are some things you want to see or experience? These are all things we should consider. How important are these goals to us? And what can we do to help achieve them? We all have different dreams and motivations. But most importantly, what are our priorities? Are you incorporating your dreams into your daily thoughts? Anything is possible if we only believe. Just don't ever give up. Keep striving. Keep reaching. And believe that it is on its way. One step at a time.

It's the life in your years that matter. So what are you doing today to make the most out of your life? Start by examining your goals, and then make necessary changes. This life is meant to be fun and exciting, and it can be if we surround ourselves with the things we love. Let's all choose to make the most out of each and every day.CJShttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12201854914505038230noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2605283226235590862.post-10127372539246266832012-04-02T13:37:00.003-06:002015-05-31T17:36:07.355-06:00Today I am Living

"Today I am living, and my heart sings with joy for the days that follow."

Today I am living. And that is all I can ask for. Each day is new. Each day is a gift to us. There is so much we can do and accomplish in just one day. Every morning when we wake we should give thanks for having just one more day. Each and every day we are blessed to be alive. Being alive is truly the most amazing gift.

As each morning comes along do we regret getting up? Are we angry that the alarm clock is going off and that we have to get up and go to work? Remember we choose our attitude. Instead being annoyed or frustrated, we should stop and think how lucky we are to have another day of life. Give thanks for the day. Give thanks for your health. And instead of complaining about work, we should be thankful that we even have a job. According to Google statistics our American unemployment rate is at 8.3 percent. Now that may not seem too high, but when we look at the American population of 311,591,917 people then that means there are roughly 2,586,129 people without work! That is a lot of people! So quit complaining already and be thankful! And that is only one reason to be thankful. There are so many other reasons. But just being alive should be enough. We are alive and can choose to do whatever we please in the day that we have. So today my heart sings with joy. Thank you for one more day!
get out of bed. Be truly thankful for the opportunity of a new day. And always make the most of it. Appreciate every little thing. Give thanks for each new day, for today I am living.

And we used to be the same way. Over the years we grow and we learn what things are and they become less thrilling. After time we decide the things we once were in awe by, now, are nothing new. But why not? Why is it that our world has become so mundane to us? Why has it lost its sparkle? It's because of the way we choose to look at things. Because we are absorbed in our work life. Because we don't have time to stop and smell the roses. Well, we have to make the time. Time doesn't stop or slow down. Neither will our life. We need to make the time in our lives for the extraordinary.

We need to realize what is all around us and stop taking it for granted. Nature is a beautiful blessing that we should never take for granted. Have you ever stopped and noticed all the details of a plant? My son loves sticks and rocks. Imagine how old that rock is? I bet it's a lot older than us. Imagine what that rock has seen in it's lifetime, or even how it may have traveled. How about that tree? Or the river? When was the last time you noticed the clouds and the shapes they take? Or when was the last time you sat out and watched the stars? How about the local animals that live around your area? There is so much life out there. There are so many amazing things that we take for granted, mostly because we are just to busy to allow something else into our thoughts or life. Well slow down a bit. What is important in your life? We make time for the things we choose.

Take the time and look at our world through the eyes of a child. When you can do this, then you will truly appreciate the life you have been given. Each day is a gift. Each day is new. Don't settle for the ordinary routine. Expect great things and choose to look at the world differently.

We release stress by having fun and doing things we enjoy, all the things that make you feel good. What makes you happy? The things that make you happy are the things that will keep you alive! We must always make time for the things we love and enjoy.

There are many ways we can release stress by doing the things we love. What are some of the things you enjoy doing? What are some of your hobbies? I love to play board games, make candles, and do scrap booking. Some people enjoy playing sports or video games. Many women like to go shopping. Watching movies, playing an instrument, or even just listening to music are other great ways of relaxing and dissolving stress from life. Any sort of creative process where you are actually making something with your own two hands is great for the mind and a perfect way to ease stress from your life. Pottery, drawing, painting, and carpentry are all wonderful ways of expressing creativity. Horseback riding, bicycling, or hiking are great ways to get outside and appreciate nature. There are so many options. We need to find things and activities that we really enjoy, and make time for them regularly in our lives.

Another very important area we should focus on is making time for our friends. This may seem like a simple idea ,but how many of us make time for our friends on a regular basis? So many times we get caught up in our daily lives with work and children and new relationships we tend to put our friends on the back burner. They are there for us when we need them, but how about all that time in between? Do we talk to them only when we need something or have a problem? Or do we show them that we appreciate them in our lives?

As humans we are naturally social animals. Just like animals in the wild, we have our own packs, our own herd that we belong to. The people in our lives are not here by mistake. Everyone in our lives make an impact on us; they influence us. We need to appreciate our friends and realize what a true blessing they are in our lives. It's not always easy to come across a true friend; a real friend who is there because they want to be. Because they see what's inside of you, the real you. The friends who are there through thick and thin, no matter what happens. Those are the friends we need to make time for. We need to show these friends that we appreciate them by keeping in contact with them on a regular basis. When is the last time you had lunch with your good friend? Did you remember their birthday?

When we love and appreciate our friends then we are creating more joy, in both our own life and theirs. It feels good. And when we feel good then we are releasing the built up stress in our lives. Keep in touch with old friends. It's good for your health.

"Foster connections - There is no question it is the connections with others that bring richness to our lives. Strong social connections and shared experiences create the foundation on which happiness can thrive. Pick up the phone; email an old friend."

"You won't find happiness by always striving to be the best."

"Chicken Soup for the Soul - Find Your Happiness. 101 Inspirational Stories about Finding your Purpose, Passion, and Joy." by Jack Canfield, Mark Victor Hansen & Amy Newmark

Think about it. When someone is striving to be the best and that is what they are focused on, then they are unsatisfied with their current state of being. We must turn our thinking around. We must first be loving and accepting of where we are at now and then we will find true inspiration to change for the better. But we should not insist only on the best, because if we do then we are judging and not accepting of ourselves at the current time.

Striving to be the best all the time can be very tiresome. It is no way to live. Many can become obsessed with the idea of becoming the best. It consumes them. It becomes what they live and breathe. It is what they are thinking about and what they are doing. This will set you up for unhappiness. How can one be happy when all they can think about is what they want to become? If that is what you are thinking about, then all you will notice is your short comings, which will also lead to more unhappiness based on the Law of Attraction. There are many things a person can become obsessed with. Some people have to be the best when it comes to work and money. Others choose to strive to be the best looking. Sadly, many people develop eating disorders and do crazy things to try to compare to what our society shows as attractive. I have a friend that works out for four hours a day! FOUR hours! God, that is crazy! Granted she lost 50lbs. Other people want to be the best with their grades in school. Others may want to become the best at sports. There is nothing wrong with setting goals and trying to achieve them as long as you are honest and fair with yourself. Only you can judge whether you are truly happy. If it makes you happy, then more power to you, but sometimes our minds can become clouded with the idea of becoming the best. So be real with yourself and be sure that you have safe and healthy goals.

We will never be happy with ourselves if we are always striving to be the best. If we are only focused on one thing and that is all we ever do or think about, then how can we truly be happy? We must be able to do the things we enjoy too. We must have balance in our lives. Balance is the key.

"Some people pursue happiness, others create it."

How do you live your life? Are you someone who is constantly looking for happiness and chasing the idea? Or are you someone who appreciates everything that crosses your path? Are you looking for things to make you happy? Or do you already have reasons to enjoy life? We can choose to be happy with what we already have and where we are currently. Or we can always be looking for something else to give us a reason. Which are you?

Some people are always looking for that next thing, that next next person, that next paycheck, whatever it may be to make them happy. Why not be happy now? Why should we need something else, something new? Until we learn to be happy as we are then we will never be happy because we will never be satisfied. When we learn to be grateful for the blessings in our lives then we have found the key to happiness. Some people will always be looking for happiness. Others have learned to create it. There are so many things we can do in our own lives and the lives of others that can inspire happiness. When you have learned how to enjoy life then you will discover the ways of creating happiness and joy. We will learn that when we can create joy in other people's lives then we are creating happiness in our own lives as well. It feels wonderful to make others feel joy and happiness. When we can do nice things for others then we are growing spiritually. Soon it will become fulfilling to do nice things to others. It feels good to give to others, and the more we do it the more we will enjoy it and want to give more and more. Share with your loved ones. Share with strangers. Brighten the day of others. Make it your goal to create happiness in the lives of whoever you come in contact with. Choose to be happy.

When we can make others happy then we feel fulfilled deep down. To share our love with others is the best gift we can give. Instead of chasing happiness, let's choose to create it. What can we do to share our love? What can you do today to create happiness in your life and the lives of others? Don't hold back. Create and share happiness.

Everyone has their fair share of obstacles. It is what we choose to do with them. How do you handle obstacles? What are some great ideas to diminish any doubt or setbacks? How can we move easily past limitations?

We are all living and growing. We are learning and advancing each and everyday. But every now and again we come across a wall. Something in our path that slows us down or even puts us at a complete halt. What should we do when this happens? Sometimes this can be so frustrating and belittling. The best, and sometimes the only thing we can do is to stay positive. There is no good using energy on negative feelings. If we trust in the Law of Attraction then the best strategy is to stay positive and to have pleasant thoughts. Whatever we choose to think about will attract more of what we are thinking. So the best advice to is to stay focused on our goal and to never give up. We can start attracting good things by imagining the best possible scenarios. Things will always turn around. If we have an attitude of gratitude then we can find things to be thankful for. When we are being thankful then we are attracting more things into our lives to be thankful about. Whatever we are thinking, we are attracting so lets be thankful for whatever we can think of. Think of anything positive that gets your mind off the current situation. The more you focus and think about the bad, then the longer it is going to stick around. In fact you are attracting more mishaps and obstacles when your center of attention is on the bad. When we notice what is not right and what isn't going our way then unfortunately we are asking for more of that. We must turn our thinking around and choose to notice the good, and what is going right for us. Every problem, every circumstance is only temporary. Once we realize this then we can choose to make the change if we want to. Get your mind off the problem and focus on the good.

Do not be limited by your current state of where you are. There are ways around obstacles. And sometimes all we can change is our thinking. Once we learn to change our thoughts then we will soon see the direct results in our daily lives. The power of the mind is amazing. We can make a difference just based on our thinking.CJShttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12201854914505038230noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2605283226235590862.post-13579938804621997962012-02-17T18:01:00.001-07:002012-03-16T10:40:24.744-06:00Sense of SmellOne great way to reduce some of the stress in your life is by your sense of smell. Research has shown that when we enjoy a pleasant smell then our body is in a more relaxed state. Good smells trigger brain activity and releases good feelings. Certain smells can bring back good memories which also leads to satisfying nostalgic feelings.

It's interesting how the brain works! Smells are a good way to trigger fun, happy, relaxing, and stress relieving times. I'm sure the term aroma therapy rings a bell? It's an <span style="font-family: "Times New Roman"; font-size: 12pt;">authentic way of treating the mind and body. Our sense of smell is given to us for a reason. Let's take full advantage of it and enjoy what we are blessed with. There are powerful scents that can do different things for the body and trigger different responses. I recommend looking into it. Here is a great website for the uses of the different scents:

http://www.auracacia.com/auracacia/aclearn/ar_directory.html

This is probably one of the easiest things we can control in our environment. We can choose what it is we want to smell. We can choose what we smell like, what our house smells like, what our car smells like, or even our office at work. Start by making a few changes in the places we can control. I love burning candles and incense. They smell great and they really set the atmosphere, which is what relaxes our minds and bodies. I also love perfume. I just bought a new perfume recently, and it smells so good! I've been wearing it for three days straight now. It just smells so lovely and it puts me in a good mood because I feel lovely wearing it. I smell it and I feel fresh, pretty and luxurious. It just puts me in a great positive mood. And anything that can bring your spirits up is a good thing! When we are in a good positive mood then we are attracting more positive things into our lives due to the Law of Attraction. Stress release is the key.

So take some time out and think about what kind of scents you really enjoy. Which ones put you in a good mood? And which ones calm and relax you? These are the smells you should be enjoying regularly to boost your energies. Enjoy your senses and relieve the stress from your life. It's fun, enjoyable, and good for your mental health. The sense of smell, what a wonderful thing.CJShttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12201854914505038230noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2605283226235590862.post-56836487306149456152012-02-10T17:27:00.001-07:002012-02-10T17:27:23.053-07:00Live to GiveOne of the best things we can do for others is give to them. Give of yourself and feel the joy behind it. When we give to others then we are sharing a part of ourselves. We are opening our hearts. We can share our love in many different ways. There are so many options and different ways we can be a blessing to others. The more we give the more we will receive in return. When we give honestly, and truly from the heart then we are in return blessed. It is just the way it works. When we give love, then we receive love.

What can you give of yourself today? When was the last time you did something special for your loved ones? This is the best way to show others how much you care. There is nothing better than receiving a gift for no reason other than to show you care. It shows that you are thinking of that person, and how much you care for them. You don't need a special event or holiday to come around to show your love. We can share our love at any time. There is no wrong opportunity.

One of the perks to giving and expressing our love is actually a health benefit. It is actually a stress reliever to give to someone else. When we feel love, and when we feel gratitude and appreciation of another then we are focusing on the good things in life, and therefore we are releasing stress by sharing with others. It should always feel great giving to others. When we are so blessed to where we can give to others, then there is no reason why we should hold back. Doesn't it make you feel wonderful inside when you give someone a gift that you know they will truly love? Doesn't it make you feel like a good person? Well it should! It feels good because it is a natural stress reliever to share our love with others. So share all the love that you possibly can.

And to clarify, giving a gift does not have to consist of money. There are plenty gifts that a person could give that doesn't cost a thing. Some of the best gifts could be as simple as lending a helping hand. There are so many opportunities to where we could help make a person's life easier by helping them with some basic tasks. You could help a person by doing a chore they usually have to complete, like the dishes or taking out the trash. You could surprise your neighbor by shoveling their driveway or pulling their weeds. You could volunteer to watch your friends children so they can have some alone time or a date night. Wash someone's car. Or my personal favorite, is to do something creative and make them something with your own two hands. There is nothing more personal than something hand made. You are taking your time and energy and putting it to work to make something special. I love to make greeting cards, scrapbooks, candles, anything. There are so many creative ways to show someone you care for them. What can you do to show the people in your life that you care?

Next time you are feeling stressed out slow down and take some time to do something nice for someone else. It feels great. It gets your mind off of the current situation and there is no better way to show someone you care then by doing something nice for them. How long has it been since you've told your friends and loved ones how much you love them? How many people can you show your love to this week? Now is a perfect opportunity. Give. Live to give. Choose to be happy.CJShttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12201854914505038230noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2605283226235590862.post-19711277324560532042012-01-12T09:40:00.002-07:002015-05-31T17:58:31.591-06:00Dreams Give Birth to Change

"Only Dreams give birth to change."

-Unknown

It is when we dream, when we imagine and when we have desire that we put a plan in action. Knowing what we want, and imagining it is the first step to getting started to where we want to be. If we can dream it up and imagine it then we are one step closer to achieving the very thing we have been wanting.

What are your dreams? Have you ever taken the time to really stop and think about it? What do you want to do and achieve in your lifetime? I recommend making a list of all of your goals and dreams. This is a great idea because then you are not only focusing on your ideas, but you can also keep track of them and look back at them whenever possible. Having goals is a great way to move through life. I love keeping a list because it feels wonderful to cross off or put a check mark next to each dream as it happens. It feels great to know that you have achieved something you really wanted. And every time you look back at your list you will see just how much you have accomplished. It also shows you how well you are working with the Law of Attraction. It is our thoughts and attitudes that bring about change in our life. Our thoughts are made of energy and it has been scientifically proven that our thoughts emit and give off frequencies, just like a radio. We attract energies into our lives just like we send them out. Positive attracts positive and negative brings negative.Choose your thoughts and you will choose your reality. Choose to focus on your dreams. Only dreams give birth to change.

Take the time out of your busy life to think about what it is you really want. Think about this lifetime and what you want to achieve. Set the plan in motion. You can have, be, or do anything. If you believe it, you can achieve it. Stay positive and have faith. Believe that it is coming to you. It's just a matter of time.CJShttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12201854914505038230noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2605283226235590862.post-9691834130769294432012-01-05T15:43:00.000-07:002015-05-31T18:06:00.313-06:00The Best New Year's ResolutionThe New Year is upon us. Many people make it tradition to make some sort of New Year's Resolution. Many people make them, but how many can really keep them? Last year my new year's resolution was to be able to do the splits. I was never able to do them and I just wanted to. Well needless to say another year has come and gone, and I still cannot do the splits. Although. I have really increased my stretching abilities and flexibility. So my purpose was not in vain. I have accomplished something out of my goal. Do you remember what your goal was last year? More importantly, did you succeed?

This year I have made a new goal. I want to start over; a clean slate. I want to let go of all resentments. I want to let go of the past. And I want to love myself more. I recently read a quote from a book which was actually what inspired my New Year's resolution for this year. The book was called "Another Door Opens" by Jeffrey A. Wands (a well known psychic). He simply said "Always looking out for number one is a sure way to prevent your soul from growing and evolving." I don't know, that quote just really hit me. And I had to stop and think to myself about it. I looked at myself deep down and I realized that ever since my ex husband left me years ago, I have been living somewhat guarded. Almost like the quote said, I've always been looking out for number one. I have found myself holding back in many circumstances. And reading that quote I realized, I don't want to live like that. That's not me. I don't want to be scared to take a risk anymore. It's amazing how a person could live like this and not even really be aware of what is truly going on inside. It's easy to make a shell and hide behind it sometimes. I just really found myself relating to this quote in different scenarios, and it was an awakening moment for me. And I realized I wanted to change. And that is the beauty of life. We are always learning, growing, and changing. We can change at any given moment. The choice is up to us.

So this year I want to love and be loved. I want to be the best person I can possibly be. I want to inspire others. I want to care for myself like I would another. But I will let my guard down. I will take risks and not be afraid. I will trust that everything has its reason and purpose in life, and that the Universe has its ways of taking care of us. I choose to make this year, and every year, my best year. Happy New Year!

Love Thy Choice.

"Choose thy love. Love thy choice."

-German Proverb

This is a simple quote that basically shows that we make choices all the time, and it is up to us to choose what we love. And when we do make our choice then we should love what it is that we chose. Make the right choices and you should be content with them. Do the things that you enjoy, and be happy about them. Love the choices that you make.

There are many times in life where we are pressured into making choices. So many times we do things because we are worried about societies' standards and fitting in as social creatures. But we need to start making choices for ourselves. What makes me happy? Sometime we do things because we feel like it was the right choice for our society. But how does it make us feel? If it doesn't make us feel good, then we shouldn't be doing it. A lot of times we can feel like we are hiding the real person that we are because so many people will not accept us. We are all unique individuals with different ideas and preferences, and that is how it is supposed to be. We are not made to be the same. That is what is so interesting and exciting about life, all the different choices and personalities. If we could learn to appreciate things that are different, then we are opening and expanding our minds to many possibilities. If you want to be accepted by others, then start accepting other people for who they are. Don't judge, and if you catch yourself, replace your thoughts with love or something positive instead. What goes around comes around. Judgement is one of the worse habits to get into.Try to appreciate what each person has to offer. We all have different personalities and talents that we share with the world. It is our personal choices that make us so diverse. Enjoy the endless possibilities that this world has to offer.

"Choose thy love. Love thy choice." We all make choices everyday. What are you choosing to do? Do you love your choices? Is your life filled with happiness and love? Strive to make the best choices you can. Our life is the result of our personal choices. If we choose what we love then we should love our life and its experiences. We can always make changes. We can always continue the path we are on. What are the choices you are making? Choose what you love.CJShttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12201854914505038230noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2605283226235590862.post-4045179121991622242011-11-22T10:16:00.001-07:002015-05-31T18:36:26.219-06:00Everyday Miracles

"The invariable mark of wisdom is to see the miraculous in the common."

-Ralph Waldo Emerson

How many times do we stop to smell the roses? As we grow up we lose our sense of fun, our sense of being. Too many times there is something wonderful right in front of us, but we miss it because we are so involved in our own circumstances. There is so much wonder and grace in this Earth and we should really take the time to notice and appreciate what has been given to us.

Colors. Detail. Texture. Sight. Smell. Taste. These are all wonderful examples of things we may take for granted on a regular basis. Why? Because as we grow and the years go by we get used to things. We start to take things for granted. We need to slow down and look around. What do you see? I see a world full of wonder, if only someone would take the time to explore it. Look upon the world as if you were a small child. There are miracles all around us. Take the time to notice the small details, the mechanics of something and you will be amazed or even baffled on how it works or was created.

There are so many example of nature that could constitute as a miracle. Take the time to appreciate this world. When was the last time you really looked at something? Take a tree for example. Go up to one, get a good look. Feel the bark. Is it rough or smooth? How old is this tree? Is it older than you? Notice the color of the leaves and how they are shaped. There are all different sorts of trees. Imagine the process of Photosynthesis. Very complex What a miracle of life. How about a river? Listen to the sound as it passes by. What is the speed of the water. Is it slowly passing or is it rather swiftly moving? Think of the temperature and the habitat that this river creates. How many species can survive due to this particular river? Amazing. How about the mountains? Years and years of our planets structural change. The glaciers and water that formed them by carving into the surface. It's astounding! What about the stars? When was the last time you took the time to step outside at night and appreciate the stars? They are a gorgeous reminder to us that anything is possible. There are countless other galaxies out there. There is so much more to life. There is so much wonder and so many miracles that we should learn to appreciate rather than take for granted.

Some other great examples would be from the human body. Look at our brain for example. The complexity and use of our brain is extraordinary. Scientists have shown that our brain uses electricity to function! What?!? So we have electricity coursing though our bodies. Wow. How about the human eye? Isn't it such a miracle that we can see? Sensors that take in information, and upside down images transferred and reflected to our mind!!!! Do you see the beauty of this? It's Endless. The miracles of life are endless, if we could only see it it that way.

When we learn to look at the world with the eyes of a child, then we will find true joy. We will be grateful for all the things in our lives, big and small. We will look at everyday objects with amazement and realize what a blessing is truly in front of us. Wisdom is to see the miraculous in the common.CJShttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12201854914505038230noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2605283226235590862.post-45754427845928026462011-10-25T11:16:00.000-06:002015-05-31T18:47:32.573-06:00The Biggest Risk

"The biggest risk of life isn't making mistakes, but it's regret, missing out on experiences."

Isn't that the truth! We are bound to make mistakes in life. We are all human and are not perfect. But there are plenty of times in our lives when we see opportunities and still pass them by. But why? Why do we let perfectly good opportunities pass us by?

Life is all about taking chances. Many of us feel self doubt, or discouragement from other sources. There are many reasons that a person could come up with for not taking a risk, following their dream, or even stepping out of their comfort zone. We become afraid. We are afraid that things will not work out. We are afraid that maybe this isn't the best idea. Or things will be easier if I follow what others think and believe. A lot of times we are afraid of change. These are all reasons for us to turn down our dreams. So why is it easier for us to turn down opportunities than to take them? Well frankly, sometimes it can be hard to step out of our comfort zones and take a chance. Sometimes the risks are too great and we begin to worry and fear what could happen. We should not fear the future. We should be up for a challenge. It's okay to make mistakes. It's okay to mess up sometimes. But most of all we shouldn't even be worrying about that. We should know that everything happens for a reason, and everything will turn out no matter which path we choose. Don't be afraid to take a risk. Everything will be okay.

We need to have more faith in ourselves, and the Universe. Opportunities are given to us for a reason and we should not doubt if it is something we truly have been wanting. We need to realize and believe that our higher power will provide. There is nothing too big or too small for the Universe. We can have whatever it is we dream about. We just have to realize that it is there waiting for us. We need to reach out and take it. Take that risk. It is worth the price. Believe things will work out, and they always do!CJShttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12201854914505038230noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2605283226235590862.post-29158411572335105622011-10-24T10:49:00.003-06:002011-10-24T11:02:25.050-06:00What is your Focus?Does it ever seem like sometimes you get stuck in a rut? Do things seem to keep happening to you? One thing after another? How can you get things to stop and turn around for you? Is there anything we can we do to change our circumstances?

Yes. Yes. and Yes! Sometimes it seems like everything is going good for us. And we are completely content and happy with life and the situations in it. But then there are other times when everything that could possibly go wrong does. How come life works this way? Well the answer is much simpler than we can imagine. It is our own personal thoughts and attitudes on the subject. It's easy to continue that happy and joyful feeling when things are going good. And it is also easy to get caught up with negative emotions when bad things happen. We are all human, and it is completely normal to have and experience negative emotion. But it is how we choose to deal with the situation and most of all our thoughts. We can change our thoughts whenever we choose. We can at any point choose to feel differently or focus on a new subject. This can be very challenging at some point, but it must be done.

It is so easy to think about what is right in front of us. It is easy for us to focus on a situation at hand. But if we are currently focused on "what is" then we can never change the circumstance. As long as you are more aware of what you don't want rather than what you do want regarding the situation, what you do want cannot come to you because you are focusing on what you don't want. When you are focused on what you don't want, you are attracting more of that into your life and will continue to do so as long as you stay on that pattern of thinking. We must shift our mood, our emotions, and our thoughts to positive. You must take your attention away from the issue and choose to focus on things that make you feel good. One of the best ways to change from negative to positive thoughts is by being thankful. Be thankful for whatever you can possibly think of, down to the smallest of things. There are so many reasons to be grateful, and when we are then we are bringing back positive thoughts, which will begin to attract all the good things in life. It will be only a matter of time before your life is back on track.

Most people do not realize that their thoughts are creating their lives. Your current thoughts will bring your future to you. Look around. What do you see? Everything in your life and your current situation, you have attracted whether it be good or bad. Are you happy with where you are? To attract positive things into your life you must be thinking positive thoughts the majority of the time. If you are looking to make improvements then start with your thoughts and you will soon see the changes in your experience. Your thoughts change everything.CJShttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12201854914505038230noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2605283226235590862.post-55071575363631684872011-09-21T21:48:00.000-06:002011-09-21T21:48:50.119-06:00PaintingHave you been trying to find a way to reduce stress in your life?
In the book "The Seth Material" by Jane Roberts there is a mention of painting and its healing qualities. It goes on by saying "Dr. Pietra in his medical work is studying the use of painting in therapy. How often is it that we catch ourselves getting so caught up in this world that we don't even see the big picture? Our environment has so much to offer, so much in fact that it is easy to get <span style="font-family: "Times New Roman"; font-size: 12pt;">engrossed with all the details. How can we get back to our own personal lives and enjoy living the way we are supposed to?

<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman"; font-size: 12pt;">Today's society is filled with technology, internet, media, entertainment, advertisements, people, commotion, traffic, careers, deadlines, bills, family pressures, responsibilities, and expectations. How do we measure up? How do we keep up? They say stress is the number one cause of disease. The number one cause! So this means that we must make it a priority to rationalize and prioritize what is really important in our lives. How do we want our lives to take place? What are our dreams? What are we allowing into our thoughts and mind? Our daily choices and thoughts affect our lives more than we know it. So we must make it a habit to slow down and enjoy the scenery every once and a while. Slow down and appreciate life. Be truly grateful for all that you have in your life. Enjoy whatever makes you happy. Do the things that release stress from your life. There are so many options, we just have to remember to make the time in our lives for the things that we love.

<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman"; font-size: 12pt;">How busy are you? Do you find your day whizzing by without enjoying it? Or are you doing what you love? Sometimes we do things because we think they are the right choices, the easy path, or because that is what is expected of us. But does it make you happy? It is time to make a choice and start living life the way you want to, however that may be. Who knows what life will bring? Who knows how long we will have? Now is the time to slow down and look at what is really going on. Take the time to enjoy life for all its worth. You won't be sorry.

What is the secret to happiness? How can we all live with more satisfaction and contentment in our lives? How can we find true joy? These are all questions that most people would love to know the answers to. Well, thankfully the Universe has provided us with a couple of laws that can govern our lives to joy and happiness if we choose to allow it.

The first law is the Law of Attraction, which simply states: That which is like unto itself is drawn. When we can master the Law of Attraction then we will know how to bring forth wonderful desires into our lives. Anything is possible when you know the correct formula! The Law of Attraction runs our lives, if we realize it our not. Whatever we are feeling and thinking about is causing more like thoughts and circumstances in our life. The more good we feel then the more good we see, and vise-versa. The Law of Attraction is what brings forth our future based on our dominant thoughts and feelings. So once we learn to shift our emotions and thought patterns then we will see a tremendous change in our lives.

The other, less popular law is the Law of Allowing, which is says: I am that which I am, and I am willing to allow all others to be that which they are. This law may be very challenging for some, but once you can accomplish this state of mind then you will have achieved true happiness and joy. This is where we can control out attitude. Our happiness should not depend on other people. True allowing is maintaining your own balance and composure, no matter what others are doing. You are here to create the world around you that you choose, while you allow others to choose it to exist in their way also. We weren't put here to try to change people into following our beliefs. We can experience our own joy through our lives when we learn to practice the Law of Allowing. When we don't allow something to change our feelings and we stay in a good, happy mood then the Law of Attraction will continue to bring more happiness and pleasant things into our lives.

So there you have it! The Law of Attraction and the Law of Allowing are the two Universal laws that dictate our lives. Once we comprehend their importance and learn how to incorporate them into our lives, we will see the changes that we wish to see. We will experience true bliss, real joy and happiness. We mold our own lives. The clay is in your hands. What will you choose to do with it?CJShttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12201854914505038230noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2605283226235590862.post-82189732003227962172011-06-22T16:05:00.000-06:002011-06-22T16:05:00.017-06:00Point of AttractionWhat is your point of attraction? Many people think that they would never attract anything bad into their lives. There is no way someone would purposely attract unwanted circumstances into their life, right? Wrong! Whatever we are thinking about we are attracting into our lives. Whether we are thinking about things we like or do not like, we are inviting it into our reality.

Everything you think about you want. Everything you talk about you want. Harsh reality? It's the truth! That is why it is so important for us to choose our thoughts wisely, and to recognize when we are feeling bad. When we realize when we are having negative thoughts or emotions then we know when we need to change our thinking patterns. When we are thinking about something that does not make us feel good, unfortunately we are only asking for more of that in our lives. When we focus on anything negative, the Law of Attraction is responding to it. The Law of Attraction is not biased; it simply reacts to our dominant thoughts. The more we think about something, the more similar things will become present in our reality.

So what are you talking about with other people? Are you talking about your back pain? Are you talking about the burglaries on the news? How about all the natural disasters? Or are you talking about uplifting and inspiring topics? What are you choosing to think about? Do you always look for the best in the situation or are you quick to pick out the flaws? The secret to true joy is being grateful. When we focus on all the wonderful things in our lives then we have reasons to be full of joy, contentment, happiness, and satisfaction.

We choose our realities. Do you choose to see the good and be thankful? Or do you choose to see the faults in something, passing on judgement and complaints? Let the Law of Attraction work wonders in your life by using it to your advantage. You will find that amazing things will happen in your experiences. Choose your thoughts wisely and you will see the transformation in your life. Change your point of attraction!CJShttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12201854914505038230noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2605283226235590862.post-70100407304587650762011-06-16T21:15:00.000-06:002011-06-16T21:15:27.732-06:00Good or Bad?Every possible topic in our lives is decided upon us as individuals as either good or bad. We all make up our minds as to what specifically we consider to be "good" and "bad." But how did we make up our minds? Most likely we have been taught in life by others that certain actions are considered bad and some are good and so forth. Who should be making those decisions?

So many times in life we are taught to act in a certain manner. Nothing outside of the norm is proper or acceptable. There are expectations to live up to. Judgement is passed if one does not conform to the ideal standards. But who decided all this and how should one act? We as individual need to question ourselves first. We must ask ourselves, "What do I believe in, and why? Were we taught to believe certain ideas from our parents growing up? How about school, politics or church? What is real? What do we choose to believe?" At some point in our lives we must ask ourselves what it is we really believe. What do I believe to be true? How do I want to express myself and live my own life?

Jerry and Ester Hicks had some interesting points of view. "A belief is only a practiced vibration. You have the absolute choices about the 'truths' that you create in your own experience. Good and Evil are only ways of defining wanted and unwanted. And wanted and unwanted apply to the individual doing the wanting." So in summation, all of us decide for ourselves what we believe to be right or wrong. We need to decide these things for our own sake, regardless the influence of society. Sometimes that is easier said than done, but we should really attempt to be our true self. There is nothing wrong with the person we choose to be.

Don't be afraid to question anything you or others choose to believe. Let's decide to be true to ourselves and make our own decisions despite outside pressure. What do you choose to believe? What are your truths? CJShttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12201854914505038230noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2605283226235590862.post-79055144927841144882011-05-26T09:06:00.000-06:002011-05-26T09:06:42.967-06:00Pamper YourselfThe best things we can do for ourselves is to take care of ourselves! And I mean to pamper ourselves! We should take the time to care for ourselves with our best treatment. We are number one, and number one comes first! If we live by this, then we will notice what kind of stress it can, and will reduce from our lives.

There is nothing wrong with being a little selfish toward ourselves. We in fact have to live in this body, so we might as well make the most of it! What can you do to help yourself feel better? What can you do to bring out the best in you? There are many options and ideas we can incorporate into our lives which will boost our optimism. Pampering yourself is a great stress reliever because when giving yourself special treatment, it is shown that a person's blood pressure actually decreases, and its a great way to get your mind of any sort of stress.

Some fun things to try could include going to a spa or a nice salon for a massage, manicure, pedicure, hair cut or style. You could always take yourself out for a special treat at a restaurant or bakery. You could take yourself out on a little shopping splurge, go to a museum or an aquarium. The point is to have fun and get your mind off the stress. Sometimes we can be tight on money, and that is understandable. In that case there are plenty of things we can do at home for little to no cost as well. You can pretty much do all the same things just at home. Take a long bath. Burn some candles or incense. Paint your own nails and toenails. Style your hair real nice, and wear an outfit you know looks great on you! Ask your significant for a quick back rub. Bake yourself something nice. There are plenty of options, you just might have to get a little creative. Another good idea is just taking time out of your day just for you. Whatever it is you want to do at the moment. Read a book, go for a walk, watch a movie, whatever it is that you find relaxing. There are so many ways to reward yourself, and that is the key here. Strive to take care of yourself first. Strive to be your own best friend, and treat yourself to the things you enjoy, the things that make you feel good. Your heart and blood pressure will thank you!

Stress is the number one cause of disease. It creeps up on all of us. It is so easy to get overwhelmed by this world, that is why it is so important to slow down and see the big picture. What is really important? Put yourself first. Take time out of your busy schedule just for you. Take control of your existence. Pamper yourself, have a little fun, and reduce the stress in your life!CJShttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12201854914505038230noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2605283226235590862.post-21344959417179955402011-05-22T19:22:00.000-06:002011-05-22T19:22:04.229-06:00VisualizationVisualization is the key to mastering our dreams. Before our dreams can take place we must be able to imagine what it will be like and how it will feel. We should take the time to visualize anything that is important enough to us. If it is something we feel in our hearts then it is something we deserve to accomplish.

We accomplish our dreams by setting goals and living up to our own expectations. Too many times people get discouraged because the things they strive for have not been accomplished yet, or its taking to long. The key to success is determination and persistence. We can achieve anything that we set our minds to. One of the first thing we can start to do to achieve our ambitions is to imagine it taking place. Imagine, what it will feel like on your journey toward your goal. Then imagine the outcome, and how amazing and wonderful you will feel when you finally achieve what you have been wanting. Imagine the satisfaction you will have when you complete your task. The more details we can imagine, the closer we are to having what it is that we want. The more we can see it and feel it, the closer it becomes to us. Don't get discouraged if it is taking longer than expected, just believe that it will come. Your desires come from the heart, and you deserve whatever makes you happy. Just keep imagining what it will be like and how it will feel.

Take time every day to set goals, and then visualize the reality of those aspirations. Everything is possible. If someone else can do it, or have it, so can you! Visualize your own success. Expect great things in your life. If you can see it in your mind then you will have it in your reality. Visualization is the key to success.CJShttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12201854914505038230noreply@blogger.com0
