Be Different

Sunday, August 30, 2015

We know we are fortunate.
We know that with all its ups and downs, life is good.
Every day may not be good, but there’s something good in every day.
Come to a decision that nothing which life has to offer
is worth the price of worry. With this decision will come poise,
peace of mind, and calmness of thought which brings happiness.
Challenges in life don’t arise haphazardly; they arrive when you’re ready
for them. Don’t look at the pain as something attributable to misfortune,
but rather as an indication that its time to grow and move on
to higher understandings of yourself and your life.
Challenges arrive when you’re ready to grow and learn.
"Respond intelligently even to unintelligent treatment."

- Lao Tzu
Your words are windows to your heart.
Negative thoughts are not who you are. Your true nature is all good.
So if by chance a negative thought comes, say to yourself,
“These thoughts are not mine, and they do not belong with me.
I am all good and I have only good thoughts for myself and others.”

Love what you do, and do what you love.
Whatever you desire you must want it with all your heart.
Desire is love and unless you have a burning desire in your heart,
you will not have enough power to harness the force of love.
You must really desire what you want with all your heart.
Act when the impulse or nudge is there.
When you have inspired thought you have to trust it and you have to act on it.
Wait if the way is not clear. I will trust that out of the chaos will come clarity.
Honor your own passions, instincts, and desires so that you
can always hear the call of your dreams and respond.
Notice what inspires you.

Mind, Thought, and Energy

What you call the mind is really an energy. It is thought.
And thought is an energy, not an object. Your brain is an object.
It is a physical, biochemical mechanism, the largest, most sophisticated,
but not the only mechanism in the human body, with which the body translates, or converts, the energy which is your thought into physical impulses. Your brain is a transformer. So is your whole body.
You have little transformers in every cell. Biochemists have often remarked
at how individual cells, blood cells for instance seem to have their own intelligence. They do, in fact. And there are more cells in your brain than anywhere else, so it seems as though your mind is there. Yet that is just the main processing center, not the only one. It is everywhere. The soul is everywhere in, through, and around you. It is that which contains you. You are more than your body, there is something larger than you are.
The soul is larger than the body. It is not carried within the body,
but carries the body within it. The aura. It is as close as we can come to understanding, to giving a picture of an enormous and complex reality.
The soul is that which holds you together, just as the Soul of God is
that which contains the universe, and holds it together.

True Wakefulness

This is a state of true wakefulness: When you stop in this state,
simply stop in your tracks, stop going where you are going,
stop doing what you are doing, just stop for a moment,
and just “be” right where you are, you become right,
exactly where you are. Stopping, even just for a moment,
can be blessed. You look around, slowly, and you notice things
you did not notice while you were passing them by.
The deep smell of the earth just after it rains.
The curl of hair over the left ear of your beloved.
How truly good it feels to see a child at play.
You don’t have to leave your body to experience this.
This is the state of true wakefulness. When you walk in this state,
you breath in every flower, you fly with every bird, you feel every crunch beneath your feet. You find beauty and wisdom.
For wisdom is found wherever beauty is formed.
And beauty is formed everywhere, out of all of life.
You do not have to seek it. It will come to you.

Somebody needs your hug today. Somebody needs your love.
Somebody needs to feel your touch. There is healing in your hands,
and there is healing in your voice.
The best way to get the last word is to apologize.
Those who deserve love the least need it the most.
Learning to forgive takes practice.
Only petty people hold onto useless resentments.
Failure to express or push out negative feelings
does not make them go away; it keeps them in.
Negativity kept in, harms the body and burdens the soul.
Release them.
Guilt is a blight upon the land, the poison that kills the plant.
Guilt and fear are the only enemies of man.
Be loving even when you don’t feel loving.
Bad Feelings: Annoyance, Worry, Criticism, Blame, Anger,
Hate, Revenge, Resentment, Guilt, Depression, Fear
Bad feelings are a lack of love.

"When you realize there is nothing lacking, the whole world belongs to you."

- Lao Tzu
Become happy with that which you are and with that which you have while at the same time being eager from more. That is the optimal creative vantage point: to stand on the brink of what is coming, feeling eager, optimistic anticipation – with no feeling of impatience, doubt, or unworthiness hindering the receiving of it – that is the Science of Deliberate Creation at its best.

- Esther & Jerry Hicks
Those who search fail, and those who don’t bother, suddenly attain.

This is how nature is. If you try to do something about it, you will go wrong.
If you say “If these conditions are fulfilled, then I will be blissful,”
then these conditions are never going to be fulfilled.
Don’t struggle to change the circumstances of your life.
When a person can celebrate life in its totality,
all that is wrong disappears.

But if you try first to make arrangements for the wrong to disappear,
 it will never disappear.

The Meaning of Eternity

Each blossom forever blooms in its field;
Each child forever clutches your hand;
Each friend forever lingers in your heart.
This is what eternal means.

Clouds may come, but clouds must go and they all have a silver lining.
For behind each cloud you know, the sun, or moon, is shining.
Negative thoughts should be recognized and faced, and then replaced.
Some see a hopeless end, while others see an endless hope.
Celebrate and enjoy all that you create, have created. To reject any part of it is to reject a part of yourself. Whatever it is that is now presenting itself as part of your creation, own it, claim it, bless it, be thankful for it. Seek not to condemn it, for to condemn it is to condemn yourself. If there is some aspect of creation you find you do not enjoy, bless it and simply change it. Choose again. Call forth a new reality. Think a new thought. Say a new word. Do a new thing. Call for it.  Say, “I Am the Life and the Way, follow me.” This is how to manifest God’s will “On Earth as it is in Heaven.”

A master blesses calamity, for the master knows that from the seeds
of disaster and all experiences comes growth of Self.
There is only experience, which you may choose to label in any way you wish. You may choose to label all of it perfection.

Marijuana May Turn Off DNA Linked To Skin Cancer and Allergies

Researchers say ingredients in marijuana may be able to interfere with harmful DNA activity in skin cells.
Marijuana may be the key to treating a wide range of skin diseases at the gene level, according to new research from Italy.

The study, published online in the British Journal of Pharmacology, shows that chemicals in marijuana have the potential to stop harmful DNA activity that underlies diseases like skin cancer and allergies.

“Our findings may lead to the development of preventive medicines, for example aimed at controlling allergic reactions, or to the design of new and more effective treatments for skin cancer.”

Certain genetic factors are believed to play a role in the uncontrollable growth of skin cells – a key characteristic of many disorders.

But a class of chemicals produced by marijuana called cannabinoids appears to have an unique ability of switching them off.

“Plant-derived cannabinoids that are absent of psychoactive effects may be useful candidates for these applications.”

In the study, researchers recorded the effects of three cannabinoids – cannabidiol (CBD), cannabigerol (CBG) and cannabidivarin (CBV)
on human skin cell lines.

CBD was found to be the most effective at targeting unwanted DNA activity, followed by CBG.

While THC has also been suggested as an effective therapy for skin allergies, research is beginning to focus on compounds in marijuana that can’t get you high – which may be more appealing to patients.

The authors also conclude that the potential to switch off gene activity may “extend well-beyond skin disorders” to diseases like multiple sclerosis and other forms of cancer.

The study was published ahead of print and received funding from

Happiness. Harmony. Joy.
All good is coming to me today. All my desires will be met today.
Magic and miracles will follow me everywhere today.
I am an individual. I form my physical environment. I change and make
my world. I am free of space and time. I am part of all that is.
I am a magnet who attracts at any point,
whatever prosperity, health, and relationships I choose.
I express my feelings of love daily,
and what I express outwardly is returned to my heart.
I will be cheerful, enthusiastic, and grateful for my blessings.

Lighthouse Sunset

Joy is the flower that blooms when you do.
Life is 10% what happens to you, and 90% how you respond to it.
Problems are opportunities in disguise.
How do I deal with all the uncertainties in my life?

By trusting the unknown. Whenever you don’t know what lies around the corner, you can choose to be frightened or happy about it,
and whichever you choose will affect, influence, and even decide
those mysterious moments to come.
Because you make real what you believe, you are in a trap of your own creation. You are creating your own limitations.
Your desire is the size of a dot compared to the Universe.
The Law of Pure Potential: Something creative is always happening.

Participate with the creative mind of the Universe.

Forest Trees

The biggest key to creation is thankfulness in advance. To be grateful before, and for, the creation. Know in advance that the deed has been done.
Instead of thinking “I want success,” think “I have success.”
“My success is coming to me now.” “All things lead to my success.”
You keep changing your mind. Remember life is an ongoing process of creation. You are creating your reality every minute. The decision you make today is often not the choice you make tomorrow. Yet here is a secret of all the Masters: keep choosing the same thing. Over and over until your will is made manifest in your reality. Therefore, be of one mind and of single purpose about a thing. And don’t take your mind off it until you have produced it in reality. Keep focused. Stay centered. If you choose something,
choose it with all of your might, with all of your heart. Keep going!
Keep moving toward it. Be determined. Don’t take no for an answer.
Why does it take so much time for me to create the reality I choose?
For a number of reasons. Because you do not believe you can have what you choose. Because you do not know what to choose. Because you keep trying to figure out what’s “best” for you. Because you want guarantees ahead of time that all your choices will be good. And because you keep changing your mind.
First become very clear in your thinking about it. Think about what you want to be, do and have. Think about it often until you are very clear about this. Then when you are very clear, think about nothing else. Imagine no other possibilities. Throw all negative thoughts out of your mental constructions. Discipline your mind to hold fast to the original creative thought. When your thoughts are clear and steadfast, begin to speak them as truths. Say them out loud. Use the command that calls forth creative power: I Am. Make I Am statements. I Am is the strongest creative statement of the universe. Whenever you think, whatever you say, after the words “I Am” sets into motion those experiences, calls them forth, and brings them to you.
For your thought about something is creative, and your word is productive, and your thought and your word together are magnificently
effective in giving birth to your reality.

"Nothing is so strong as gentleness; nothing so gentle as real strength."

–St. Francis de Sales
Only the gifts of our hearts hold enduring value.
Express feelings of love.
We all go through different experiences, but at the same time, we laugh together, we mourn together, we enjoy together, and we help each other.
Our integrity is who we really are, the totality of our own self.
Personality consists of the characteristics that make us distinctive
from other people and are consistent over time.
