The Plains of Nebraska, United States

Feel Beautiful. Feel Blessed.
Every feeling that you have saturates every cell in your body.
Physical symptoms are the outward materialization of inner dis-ease.
Our bodies are products of our thoughts.
Fall in love with yourself, a healthy relationship.
Feeling good about ourselves is a choice.
Be gentle with yourself and others.

Ten Ways of Giving: Generosity, Forgiveness, Empathy, Humor, Respect, Compassion, Loyalty, Listening, Creativity, Encouragement.
The best way to be blessed and forget about
your own problems, is to help someone else.
Live your life with compassion, be kind to yourself and others.
Every time you give love, you increase and multiply
the love in the magnetic field around you.
By taking care of others you are in fact looking after yourself.
The more giving your heart is, the more you are able to receive.
Happiness never decreases by being shared.

My sister, Claudia Sutton took these photos while visiting with me out in Colorado.
We had an amazing time together exploring the natural beauties this world has to offer.
It was a day I will never forget, and I am so glad
that we could share it together. Love and Miss you sister!

"Whether you think you can or you can't, either way you are right."

-Henry Ford
Let deciding take place instead of wishing.
Knowing instead of hoping.
Expect it!
You are the gatekeeper to the abundance, joy, and prosperity
that awaits your beck and call.
You don't have to work more hours, get more schooling,
shake more hands, climb more ladders, or make more sacrifices.
You just have to weave the dream.
See it all as easy, and so it must become.
Anything can happen in the next minute, that is the beauty of life.

"Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find;
knock and it will be opened to you."

-Matthew 7:7
Decide what you want to be, do, and have.
The starting point of all achievement is desire.
It is not your job to make something happen - Universal forces are in place
for all of that. Your work is simply to determine what it is you want.
Bring your thought of desire and your thought of belief into alignment.
Do you believe in your dreams? Are you preparing?
Behave as if their manifestation was absolutely inevitable.

Trees & Clouds

Make happiness a genuine priority in your life.
"A man who is master of himself can end a sorrow
as he can invent a pleasure. I don't want to be at the mercy of my emotions.
I want to use them, to enjoy them, and to dominate them."

-Oscar Wilde
"A change of feeling is a change of destiny."

-Neville Goddard
Your emotions are absolute indicators of your vibrational content. Therefore, they are the perfect reflection of your current point of attraction. Emotions help you know in any moment, whether or not you are currently allowing the fulfillment of your desires.
It's always the feeling you put out that matters most.

Garth Brooks "People Loving People"

Doctor, you ain't got a clue
For whatever's making this world blue
You can't get forgiveness at the store
And peace, it's a politician's war

You won't find no resolution in the bottom of a bottle
In the stars or Aristotle, the only answer to the problem is…

People loving people
That's the enemy of everything's that's evil
Ain't no quick fix at the end of a needle
It's just people loving people
Whoa, woah, woah, woah

Words aren't what they seem to be
Talk is cheap but lies are free
We fear what we don't understand
We've been scared since time began

All the colors and the cultures circle 'round us on a spindle
It's a complicated riddle, the solution is so simple…

It's people loving people
That's the enemy of everything's that's evil
Ain't no quick fix at the end of a needle
It's just people loving people
Whoa, woah, woah, woah

You can pawn it off on kings and queens and those behind the curtain
Say what can make a difference in a world so full of hurting
But I believe the remedy starts right here with you and me

People loving people
That's the enemy of everything's that's evil
Ain't no quick fix at the end of a needle
It's just people loving people
It's just people loving people
Whoa, woah, woah, woah
Whoa, woah, woah, woah
It's just people loving people

The Simple Basis of the Expanding Universe:

                                      1.  Variety causes contemplation.
                                      2.  Contemplation causes preference.
                                      3.  Preference is asking.
                                      4.  Asking will be answered.
The variety that exists helps you focus your own personal desires
or preferences. And it is through your exposure to
life experiences that your natural preferences are born.
Good and evil are only ways of defining wanted and unwanted.
And wanted and unwanted apply to the individual doing the wanting.
We form our environment now and after death.
There is no hell and judgement apart from what
we dish out to ourselves and others.

"A cloudy day is no match for a sunny disposition"

-William Arthur Ward
You don't need to go looking for happiness elsewhere,
because it is right where you are, right now.
Everything is within.
Cast yesterday aside and bid tomorrow adieu,
because there's nothing here and now that you can't do.
Hinge your happiness on tomorrow, and it will always be a day away.
Life is not about tomorrow; it's about right now.
Life is about how you are currently molding the energy.
The more you look to others for their guidance,
the more removed you become from your own wise counsel.
Your personal dream will reflect
the type of seeds that have rooted in your mind.

Cannabis: A Powerful Antioxidant

Antioxidants have received growing public attention in recent years, thanks in part to aggressive marketing of their numerous health benefits. Blueberries, blackberries and raisins have long been touted as health foods rich in antioxidants, but cannabis seems to be a rarity on the grocery list of even the most health-conscious shoppers. That may change soon enough, as studies now show that cannabinoids - the major compounds found in cannabis – also possess powerful antioxidant properties.

What are Antioxidants?

As any health expert would tell you, antioxidants are a necessary part of any diet and are essential for maintaining proper health and biological functionality.

The term “anti-oxidant” is in itself an explanation of its biological role – counteracting the damaging effects of a natural phenomenon known as oxidative stress. Oxidative stress results from oxidation reactions that occur during natural biological processes, which produce harmful free radical molecules as a by-product. Free radicals are a type of unstable and highly reactive molecules that can accumulate within the body and cause damage to cells, proteins and DNA structures.

Humans, animals and plants all maintain complex antioxidant systems involving various enzymes and nutrients (such as Vitamin C and E), which combat the accumulation of free radicals and mitigate the damaging effects of oxidative stress. However, these antioxidant systems are far from perfect and damage from oxidative stress has been linked to the natural aging process as well as many familiar disorders, including Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, pathologies related to diabetes, cardiovascular disease and rheumatoid arthritis.

Cannabis as an Antioxidant

What Studies Say:

Numerous studies have found that the cannabinoids in cannabis – specifically tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and cannabidiol (CBD) – display potent antioxidant properties in a variety of pre-clinical applications.

One of the first studies to document these effects was a study published in 1998, which found that cannabinoids could protect neurons from exposure to toxic levels of glutamate – a neurotransmitter that plays a role in a number of neurodegenerative disorders. The study compared cannabinoids head-to-head with antioxidant vitamins C and E and found cannabidiol to be 30-50% more effective than either of the vitamins. A follow-up trial published in 2000 showed similar results using animal models instead of cell cultures.

Subsequent pre-clinical trials have confirmed the therapeutic potential of cannabidiol’s antioxidant properties in a variety of neurodegenerative and inflammatory disease models, including collagen-induced arthritis, infarction, Alzheimer’s disease, diabetes, myocardial ischemia and atherosclerosis. Researchers have focused on cannabidiol because of its affinity towards CB2 receptors and its lack of psychoactive effects, which occur through activation of CB1 receptors instead.

What This Means For Your Heath

Regular intake of antioxidants is a necessity for maintaining good health and antioxidant-rich fruits and vegetables are still the recommended dietary source. An overwhelming number of studies have linked antioxidant-rich diets to a lower risk for diseases such as cancer, cardiovascular disease, stroke, Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s and arthritis. Current research also suggests that the antioxidant properties of cannabis may indeed hold therapeutic potential for a number of inflammatory and neurodegenerative disorders.

"If you can make one person smile a day, then you have shared your love."

-Alice Sutton (my mom)

*She wrote this nice little quote in my diary when I was in elementary school.
A smile never goes out of style.
Always bring happiness into the lives of those whom you come in contact with.
"Those who bring sunshine to the lives of others
 cannot keep it from themselves."

-James M. Barrie
People who keep track of the good things in life are healthier,
more active, more productive and are held in higher regard by others.
In the midst of a difficult situation, look for something to be grateful for. Every single thing you find to be grateful for changes the situation.
As we learn to appreciate the miracle of being alive,
we will find the peace and strength to face life's challenges as they come.

Every day, in every moment, you make the choice
whether to love and harness the positive force or not.
"Love is an element which though physically unseen is as real as
air or water. It is an acting, living, moving force...
it moves in waves and currents like those of the ocean."

-Prentice Mulford
Love is life's greatest experience.
When you love, you are using the greatest power of the universe.
Your feelings of love will lead you to your purpose.
